I played in my first rock band at the tender age of 14, now, after all these years, I was horrified to find out that I am a folk singer!

With the release of my first album "Me and Mr. Cole" in 2000 and "Narcoossee Lucie" in 2004, I embarked on a wonderful journey as a performing Singer-Songwriter. Welcome to this new site! I will be working hard to improve it and to keep you informed of what is happening with me!
During my high school and college years as a Rocker, I had the honor to know and play with some of the greats. Gram Parsons and I grew up together in Winter Haven, What a loss when he crossed over.
In the mid 60's, The Spades were one of the best young bands in the Southeast. We played a SouthEast tour with The Zombies and The Searchers in 1966, that won us a recording contract in Nashville. Thought that we were gonna be Stars! Didn't Happen.
Our keyboard player, Jon LaFrandre went on to play with the Bellamy Brothers. Among my early contempories in Florida was my old friend Jimmy Stafford, Kent LaVoie (LOBO), Carl and Jesse Chambers of The Bellamys and
Jon Corneal of The International Submarine Band, and The Byrds.
Through the years I became a campfire guitar player. Just playing for the fun of it. I reupped for college in the early 90's, got my life straightened out and started writing songs.
